What's new

Recent changes you might notice in MaxTrax, newest first.

  • Open any weld and the new Traceability section traces it back to its heats, their mill
  • You can now zoom a document image by scrolling over it and move it by dragging — the ± and Fit buttons still work exactly as before, and your browser’s own ctrl/⌘-scroll page zoom is left untouched.
  • Drawings and photos now open full-screen on a phone or tablet, with pinch-to-zoom and bigger zoom buttons you can hit with a glove on.
  • Importing a project workbook now happens on the ISOs page — select Import workbook… at the top of the ISO list. The separate Import page has been retired, and old links to it land on the ISOs page with the import panel already open.
  • Opening a new weld lot now fails with “welder not on project” when that welder’s assignment to the project is no longer active — a state that today only arises in data carried over from the legacy system, since no action in MaxTrax deactivates an assignment.
  • Revoking a welder’s qualification, or deactivating them on a project’s roster, does not by itself prevent a new weld lot from being opened.
  • When you attach a document you can now classify it — pick a Document type such as an NDE report, drawing, or MTR — and each document’s type is shown on its row.
  • The shipped WPS catalog grid gains a “Facility” column and the procedure detail header gains a Facility row, both reading “Shared” for a tenant-wide procedure or the owning facility’s name.
  • The weld matrix now shows a WPS rev column recording which revision of the welding procedure each weld was welded to, and the weld drawer explains that a completed weld keeps its revision even after the procedure is revised.
  • Opening an ISO that has been removed, deactivated, or that you do not have access to now says so plainly — “This ISO isn’t available” — with a Retry and a way back to your ISOs. Offline is unchanged: your local weld list still works, and still says so.
  • The ISOs list now shows each drawing’s weld status at a glance and when it last saw activity, and its Open rejects and NDE backlog tiles are live — click either one to filter the list down to exactly the drawings it counted.
  • The Inspections screen is no longer a permanent item in the left navigation; find it from Home’s “NDE backlog” tile, or search for it with the command palette (Ctrl K / ⌘K).
  • A report that flagged two active drawings sharing the same drawing number in one project has been removed from the reports catalog, the scheduled-reports picker, and the help reference — the system has prevented that situation from occurring since 2026-07-07’s drawing-number uniqueness rule, so the report could never have returned a result for any customer.
  • Test packages gain a pressure-test capture form, a release-readiness (blockers) panel, a punch-item work-off list, and a blockers acknowledgement step on the sign confirmation — all reachable from the test-package detail screen.
  • There is now an ISOs screen in the Operations menu listing every drawing in your project — search it, sort and choose columns, export exactly what you are looking at, and add a new drawing with New ISO (only the drawing number is required, and it has to be unique in the project).
  • You can now preview an attached document — PDFs and images — without downloading it first, and open any attachment’s Details to see every drawing, weld or test package it is attached to, with the one you are currently looking at marked; removing it from here now says plainly that the file stays attached to everything else.
  • The ISO drawing page now shows diameter inches earned as its own metric card alongside NDE complete and Open rejects, with the percentage of eligible inches and a small trend of inches earned over time — the same project-wide number as before, just easier to read at a glance.
  • NDE technicians and QC reviewers can now view and edit an inspection’s RT (radiographic) equipment and film detail, and record a structured defect on each film-interval row, directly from the inspection detail screen — capture that previously had no screen at all.
  • Added a new Sampling coverage page (Quality section) that shows, per welder and line, whether NDE sampling is on pace, owed, or breached against the authored rate — with an expandable “why pulled” panel and CSV/Excel/PDF export, replacing the need for a hand-built spreadsheet.
  • The projected row-scope estimate before running a report is now read from your device’s own synced weld data wherever that’s possible, preferring the server’s verified count for a whole-project report — it stops warning on every ordinary project-wide run and instead warns accurately, with a labelled note when it has to fall back to a documented estimate (a cross-project portfolio run whose other projects’ data isn’t on this device, or a device that hasn’t finished syncing). Narrowing suggestions now show the row count they’d get you to.
  • BI/reporting admins and readers can now see a live data dictionary of the Power BI reporting views, a feed-health/parity card showing whether the app and the published view counts agree, and copy-able step-by-step instructions for connecting Power BI Desktop — all from the Reports → BI integrations tab. No credentials are ever shown; server and database names are still provided by your administrator.
  • Report runs now show a projected row-scope estimate and an amber warning before you run a report likely to exceed the row cap, with one-click narrowing suggestions and a frontend-only “All history” date preset.
  • In Reports > Catalog, you can now filter reports by category/kind/format, search by common alternate terms (not just the title), see a short “About” description before running a report, and see a small preview icon per report. Most reports without an on-demand button before are now reachable from Reports > Catalog if the server has registered them; a handful of specialized or internal ones are visible but not yet runnable from there.
  • The New user, New inspection, New weld, NDE-technician cert window, New welder, and Edit welder sheets now group optional fields into collapsible sections instead of one flat field list.
  • The admin Global settings page now tells you exactly which version of MaxTrax is running, alongside the version your browser has loaded. The older “App version” number is still there but is now clearly labelled as a legacy setting carried over from your previous system, so it is no longer mistaken for the running version.
  • When you pick an ISO from a drawing list — creating a weld, moving welds, or jumping to an ISO — the list shows at most 500 drawings at a time. It now tells you when you are seeing only the first 500 instead of appearing to show everything, so a drawing that is further down the list no longer looks like it does not exist. Use the ISO navigator to browse every drawing on a large project.
  • When a compliance search takes too long for the server to answer, the page now says it timed out and gives you a Retry button, instead of showing loading rows for a couple of minutes under a message about the server waking up; the exposure counts at the top read “Unavailable” rather than a dash, so a search that failed can no longer be mistaken for “nothing found”.
  • The app opens noticeably faster — the code needed to show the first screen is about a third of what it was, and heavyweight features like Excel and PDF export now load the moment you use them instead of on every screen. Offline use is unchanged: everything is still cached for working offline.
  • An Excel import that is too large for the import service’s memory now fails with a clear message saying so — including how large a workbook it can handle — instead of stalling and retrying silently until it gives up.
  • When the server rejects a weld you created offline, dismissing it from the “needs attention” list now properly closes it out — the row stops showing as “Queued”, the queued counter goes back to zero, and the “you may lose un-synced work” storage warning can finally be cleared. Previously a rejected offline create stayed queued forever and, after 72 hours, produced a non-dismissible warning that nothing you could do would satisfy.
  • On a phone, the inspections list now keeps the inspection number pinned to the left edge while you scroll sideways — so when you reach the State column you can still see which inspection you are looking at.
  • A link or scanned label that points nowhere now shows a “Page not found” screen with the menu still there and buttons back to Home and Welds, instead of an error message that suggested something had broken. The address you tried is shown on screen so you can read it back when you report the problem.
  • Excel imports now tell you when a workbook lists the same ISO drawing or the same weld twice — the first row still wins, but the ignored row is listed in the validation report instead of disappearing. And in Edit in Excel, a Weld Date the server can’t read now rejects that row with a clear reason instead of being silently ignored; write dates as yyyy-mm-dd.
  • Scheduled reports now stop running when the person who created them loses access to the project — the schedule is switched off automatically and the reason is recorded, instead of continuing to email reports indefinitely.
  • Your organization can now require every administrator to use two-factor authentication. An administrator who signs in without an authenticator app set up is taken straight to the setup screen and completes it themselves in that same sign-in, so turning the requirement on never locks anyone out.
  • You can now change your own password from the account menu — changing it signs you out on every device, including the one you’re using, so a password you think someone else knows can be replaced without waiting for an administrator.
  • Setting up your authenticator app from your account settings is now all-or-nothing — if the server hits a problem partway through, your existing authenticator keeps working instead of being replaced by a code you never received.
  • A welder qualification lot no longer counts welds that were deleted from the project, so a lot can’t close as a full sample when it is actually short — and the Lots tab, the tracer view and the Welder Lot report now all report the same weld count, and the same failure count, for the same lot.
  • Weld Inches Detail, Incomplete Welds, Potential Welder Failure and the Weld Effort by Inspection Class / by Weld Type reports no longer silently leave out welds whose inspection class comes from the drawing rather than the weld itself, or whose weld type is not recorded. Those welds now appear, grouped under “(none)” where a code would go, and the weld-inches and weld-effort totals include them — so totals on these reports can be higher than before, and a very large project may now show the partial-result banner it should always have shown.
  • If your sign-in expires while MaxTrax is open, the app now renews it in the background and carries on — and if it genuinely can’t, it tells you your session expired and offers a working sign-in button, instead of showing “Couldn’t load your projects” with a Retry that never succeeded.
  • The sign-in, two-factor and invite screens now use the larger touch-friendly sizing — tapping into a field on a phone no longer zooms the page, and the sign-in button stays reachable with the keyboard open.
  • The Welds page no longer shows a misleading “0 welds, 0% accepted” while it is still loading — the count and summary band now appear as placeholders until the real numbers are in, so a zero on screen is a zero MaxTrax has actually read. On a device still running its first sync of a project, check the sync indicator before treating an empty drawing as final.
  • The Inspections screen now shows each row’s ISO drawing number and weld number, and the search box matches on both — so you can find inspections by the drawing or weld number you work from instead of only by chart, tech, or description.
  • In the Field register, the Record result button now prints “Needs a connection” on the button itself when your device is offline, instead of hiding that in a tooltip you cannot see on a phone. On the record-result sheet, each result button (Passed / Failed / …) now announces its result once to a screen reader instead of twice — the colored status chip beside the label is still there, unchanged.
  • The Custom fields admin screen now loads a page at a time instead of every field at once, and adds a search box, sortable columns and an export — so it opens quickly even on projects with a thousand field definitions.
  • A save that collides with someone else’s edit to the same weld or inspection now returns a clear “reload and try again” conflict instead of a server error, so the app can prompt you to refresh rather than retrying a change that can never succeed.
  • The sign-in page no longer says you don’t have permission to view the page before you’ve even tried to sign in — it now points you to support and to a Corporate Administrator on your project.
  • The Welds page now shows your project’s real weld total from the server, and tells you plainly when your device is still syncing and only holding part of the project.
  • Screens no longer re-request the same data over and over while loading, the notification bell no longer re-reads its whole feed on every single update, and a page refreshing in the background no longer blanks back to a loading skeleton — a direct battery and cellular-data saving on a phone or tablet in the field.
  • A test-package completion certificate or import-validation workbook with more rows than the report cap now comes back as a clearly-marked partial with a “PARTIAL RESULT” banner telling you to narrow the filter, rather than failing to generate. A truncated completion certificate also stops stating a completeness verdict, since it can only see part of the roster.
  • A failed sign-in now gives the same message whichever way it failed, so nobody can use the login page to work out which user names exist on your tenant. If you enter the correct password for an account that has been locked or deactivated, MaxTrax still tells you so — that message just no longer appears before the password is checked, and it stops appearing once an account has taken more failed attempts than the lockout allows, until an administrator resets it.
  • Reports now contain only the rows you are authorized to see — a report you run shows the same contractors, weld types and inspection types your on-screen lists show, instead of everything on the project.
  • For your security, staying signed in now has a limit — 90 days after you sign in, MaxTrax asks you to sign in again, even if you have been using it every day. Sessions that are already open are carried over by the update, so you are not expected to be signed out when it lands.
  • Keyboard users can no longer tab into a dialog sitting behind another dialog — the buried one is now genuinely out of reach until it is back on top, matching what screen readers were already being told.
  • An import that is interrupted — by a deploy, a scale-in, or a worker failure — is now picked up and finished automatically instead of showing “Processing” forever, and an import can no longer be wrongly rejected just because another import of the same file was already running.
  • Pages and data now download noticeably faster on slow site connections, because the app compresses
  • Saved-view alert digests now contain only your own activity, and the alerts list on a project
  • Deleting a weld now also removes that weld’s inspections and film intervals from field devices, and a newly set-up device no longer downloads them as if they were still active.
  • Imports that contain comma-formatted numbers (for example 12,5 instead of 12.5) are now reported as errors on the affected rows instead of being accepted as a different number — previously a workbook saved from a European-locale Excel could import a 12.5-inch weld as 125 inches, silently inflating progress and invoicing figures, with no warning anywhere. Cells that are not numbers at all (a #N/A formula error, or free text) are likewise now listed in the validation report rather than being silently imported as 0. Blank cells are unaffected and still import normally.
  • Project administrators can now undo a whole Excel import from its run page — reversing only the records that run created and still owns, refusing outright if any of them sit under a signed ISO or test package, and offering a restore for 30 days afterwards.
  • A welder’s qualification drawer now shows the full history of any revocation — who revoked it, when, and why — plus which welds were made after it took effect, with an exposure-record export.
  • The weld matrix rollup band and the Home progress metric now show the project’s earned Diameter Inch (DI) — how many diameter-inches of pipe have been welded and made good — alongside separate rework and open-reject figures and a short trend.
  • QA/Compliance Administrators can now find lapsed-qualification-weld alerts, the compliance exception feed, and the repair-weld gap report on dedicated Compliance/Reports pages, and can subscribe to notifications on saved grid views and these alert lenses once the digest engine is live for their project.
  • Welder detail now shows a Scorecard (continuity mini-chart + qualifier progress) at a glance, ahead of the full qualifications/continuity/performance detail below it.
  • Screen-reader users managing custom fields and custom reports in Admin now hear the field/report’s actual name (e.g. “Reactivate Legacy flag”) on the Deactivate/Reactivate buttons, instead of the internal machine code (e.g. “Reactivate project.legacy_flag”).
  • the Scheduled reports admin table now dims disabled rows correctly — the History and Enable buttons on a disabled schedule are legible (WCAG-AA contrast) instead of being washed out along with the row text.
  • On a phone in Field view (the ISO detail screen today), a new bottom tab bar gives one-thumb access to Home/Welds/Workforce/Import and a “More” menu for everything else — no more reaching for the hamburger menu to get around.
  • External contractor/subcontractor users now see a clear “Acting as <party>” home screen, an honest re-syncing status when switching parties, a friendly “not in your slice” message instead of a raw error, and a clean notice if their access to a party is removed.
  • The Schedules tab in Reports now shows a clear reason when a scheduled report delivery fails or a schedule is paused, and hides the Pause/Resume control for users who can’t manage schedules.
  • The import wizard now shows a “Map your workbook’s columns” step after upload, pre-naming each column and letting you correct or save the mapping as a reusable profile before the import starts; rows flagged for review (a matched duplicate weld, or a repair label with no matching parent) now show up distinctly in the validation report, and a repair-label row can be linked to its parent weld with one click.

  • Tenant administrators can now grant and revoke a facility party-admin seat directly from the user-admin drawer — no more direct database change to stand up a facility administrator. You can only grant facilities you administer yourself, and every grant and revoke is recorded in the audit log.
  • A weld you create while offline no longer disappears from your own device after it syncs — it stays visible, and you’ll no longer see a spurious “Weld sync rejected: deletion is not supported” message for a weld you just created.
  • Welder lists now show which facility each welder belongs to, and you can filter the roster to a single facility and share that view as a link. If a welder’s stencil is already used in the same facility, MaxTrax now explains exactly that instead of showing a generic error.
  • Completing a weld now shows an eligibility preview naming which welders can make the joint and why; the welder detail drawer shows each qualification’s range envelope, its supporting PQR record, and a clear revoked-vs-expiring distinction.
  • Long entity forms (starting with weld completion) now group optional fields into collapsible sections that stay tidy by default and auto-open to show a validation error.
  • The “Complete weld” action no longer appears on welds that are already complete, so the list only offers actions that still apply.
  • You can now download an import’s validation report as an Excel (.xlsx) file from the import run screen.
  • Editing custom-field values now requires the same permission as editing the record itself — read-only users can no longer change custom fields on drawings, welds or inspections, and welder custom fields are restricted to corporate administrators.
  • Administrators can now complete, archive, or restore a project — archived projects are hidden from the default project pickers and rollups (nothing is deleted, and any archived project can be restored), and a close-out view shows a completed or archived project’s ISO and weld totals.
  • New analytics reports are available in the Reports catalog — a Defect Pareto, an RT/UT reject-rate control chart, a welder leaderboard, and a per-weld diameter-inch (earned/rework/rejected) detail export.
  • Saved-view alerts can now send scheduled digest emails on their configured cadence (one email per recipient), delivered only to members of the alert’s project.
  • Rejecting a weld now guides you straight into repairing it — record a Failed result and MaxTrax offers to create the repair weld on the spot (or leave it for later), shows the new repair weld’s server-assigned number and lineage, and links you to an existing repair instead of ever creating a duplicate.
  • New: press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) and type a legacy name — like “Welds grid” or “Data dictionary” — to jump straight to where that screen lives now; the Help panel’s “What’s it called now?” section lists the same map so migrating users can find every renamed surface.
  • Fixes a rare data-integrity edge in the field quick-entry bar: undoing a weld you just created — in the split second after it reached the server but before the app had confirmed it back — now safely retires it through the same audited Void the weld drawer uses (with a brief “Void pending” indicator), instead of trying to delete a weld the server already knew about. No change for the normal case (undoing a not-yet-sent weld still removes it instantly).
  • the admin Custom Fields and Custom Reports tables now dim inactive rows correctly — the Reactivate button on a dimmed row is legible (WCAG-AA contrast) and clickable/labeled for screen readers, instead of being washed out along with the row text.
  • The ISO detail page now shows a persistent header above the tabs with the drawing number, key identity fields, and an at-a-glance weld summary (percent accepted, NDE-complete and open-rejects counts) that stays visible on every tab.
  • The test package screen now shows a turnover/databook readiness summary and a list of the specific welds still blocking sign-off, each linking straight to that weld in the matrix below.
  • Welds completed against a welding procedure that was created in the legacy system during changeover now correctly record and display the procedure revision they were built against (previously such welds could be left without a pinned revision).
  • Welds now report the WPS/procedure revision that was in effect on the weld’s build date (rather than always the latest revision), so back-dated and same-day completions show the historically-correct procedure revision.
  • The in-app Help panel now shows a short “About this screen” summary (what it is, its terms, how to do common things) for the ISO detail / weld matrix screens.
  • The help center now covers Home (the work queue), the Workforce welder/NDE-technician roster and qualification screen, Edit in Excel, admin Reference data, My settings, Quick entry, welder progressive-examination lots, tenant branding, and the mobile Field register — plus updated guides for the weld matrix, working offline, and completing a weld.
  • Three new PDF reports are available from the reports catalog — Weld Effort by Diameter, by Inspection Class, and by Weld Type — each showing per-group weld effort, diameter inches, completion rate, and weld counts for a project.
  • Six new Saulsbury P131 / Welds PDF reports are now available — Piping Fit-Up / Welding Inspection (P131-P-001) and Weld / NDE Summary (P131-P-002), each for a whole project or a single ISO, plus the standalone Welds Fit-Up and Weld/NDE Summary detail tables — with the welder stencils, grouping by unit, and the P131 sign-off block.
  • Weld-matrix and workforce screens now render identifiers in a fixed-width font and align numeric columns so figures line up cleanly down each column.
  • Checkboxes and column sort buttons in the app’s data grids now have a larger, easier-to-tap click/touch target — no visual change, just a more forgiving hit area, especially on touch devices.
  • Administrators can now record each NDE technician’s certification effective and expiry dates from a new Admin → NDE technicians screen; setting an expiry date activates the certification-expiry check when inspection results are recorded (warn or block, per the project’s Qualify NDE technicians setting), and the dates also appear read-only on the technician’s card in the Workforce roster.
  • Added a searchable Glossary page to the MaxTrax help center, defining domain terms including the difference between diameter inch, weld inch, and structural (linear) weld inch.
  • Reports and labels you print (ISO QR labels, weld and ISO detail sheets, grid exports) and the invitation emails MaxTrax sends now carry your organization’s name and brand colour when set, falling back to the standard MaxTrax mark otherwise.
  • You can now attach, view, download, and remove documents — such as the pressure-test certificate and MTR/heat book — directly from a test package’s detail page, instead of the removed generic documents console.
  • The in-app “Help with this screen” links now open the right help page instead of a “page not found” — every screen’s help button, the sign-in help link, and Search the docs now work — and the What’s new item is shown by default.
  • Inspections and film intervals can now record a digital-RT (DICONDE) study identifier and capture medium (film, CR, or DDA), so tenants moving to computed/digital radiography can track the image reference alongside the weld — no film-only assumption.
  • A welder’s qualification on a project can now be revoked for cause by a project administrator, with a required reason — distinct from a qualification that has simply lapsed (6 months without a qualifying weld). A lapsed welder becomes current again automatically once they make a qualifying weld; a revoked welder stays revoked until an explicit re-qualification. The welder-continuity report now shows Revoked alongside Current/Lapsed.
  • Four new Excel exports are available from the reports catalog — Weld Cut Out, Weld Inches Detail, Project Inches By Joint Type, and Welder RT% by Line — matching the equivalent legacy Saulsbury reports.
  • A new Excel export is available from the reports catalog — User Activity — showing per-user, per-hour request activity for the previous calendar month.
  • A new Welder Repair Rate report (Excel) is available from the reports catalog — for each welder it shows the share of their welds currently in Repair status, alongside the share currently Rejected, so crews can compare repair and reject rates per welder.
  • The Help Center’s sidebar navigation now groups welder-related guides under a “Workforce” section instead of a “Welder” section, alongside the site’s other help topics.
  • Weld status badges and the summary bars now use a clearer, softer color set that’s easier to read at a glance — including a distinct amber for welds that are being repaired — and they stay legible in high-contrast mode.
  • The weld matrix now has a grouped column header, a color-coded status stripe down the left of each row, one-click buttons to show or hide column groups, and a Comfortable/Compact row-height toggle (your choice is remembered and saved with your views); a footer shows how many welds are visible out of the total.
  • The weld detail drawer now shows a tabular specification grid, richer inspection rows (date, technician, a link to the inspection report, and record-result), and clearly labelled history and repair-lineage sections.
  • The Operations Home work queue is redesigned as a severity-coded “what needs you now” triage list — most urgent work first — alongside a project weld-status summary bar, a segmented role switcher, a tabbed Recent panel, and a collapsible setup checklist.
  • The Documents page has moved — attach, view, or remove a document from the ISO or weld it belongs to instead of a separate Documents list. Document rows now show the file name and its type/size on two lines. Inspection and welder-continuity status chips use more distinct colors so different statuses are easier to tell apart at a glance.
  • A new “Repair Link Integrity” Excel report flags repair welds whose link to their base weld is missing or points at the wrong weld, so data-entry mistakes in the repair chain are easy to find and fix.
  • The app shell now shows the MaxTrax brand lockup, your initials in the account menu, an internal/external badge on the party switcher, and a clearer sync-status pill.
  • Screen-reader users can now tell apart the row-action buttons (change status, ISO QR label, record result, hide rejection) when several identical-looking ones appear in a list.
  • A new Workforce page lists your welders and NDE technicians, each with a qualification/certification status roster and a detail drawer.
  • Opening a welder shows their qualifications, continuity status, lots, and attached evidence in one place, with an Edit form and a one-click “All welds by this stencil” jump to the pre-filtered weld log.
  • You can export a single welder’s qualification statement (qualifications + continuity) as a PDF from the welder drawer.
  • Admins get a new Reference-data hub (Admin → Reference data) — grouped cards for Welding, Materials, and Inspection & NDE reference categories, each showing a count and a gap badge, with a vocabulary/synonym search (e.g. “F-number” finds filler materials, “mill cert” finds heats) and read-only category drill-ins; config-health reference-gap alerts now deep-link straight to the relevant category.
  • Welders now have a Lots tab showing each welder’s progressive-examination lots (state, sampling policy, weld/failure counts, tracer level), and each lot opens a detail view where a QC/NDE coordinator can disposition the lot’s sample (Pass credits the eligible welds; Fail opens a tracer and locks the pulled welds’ examination) and, with the right role, de-escalate an open tracer. The tracer is drawn as a top-down diagram — welds as nodes, red edges showing what a failure pulled in, a pulsing marker for traces awaiting their shot, and a drawn level-3 “whole lot examines” threshold — with an equivalent keyboard/screen-reader step list.
  • A keyboard-first Quick-entry bar on the weld matrix lets you add welds rapidly — each new row carries down the weld type from the last clean weld and proposes the next weld number (pre-selected so one keystroke overwrites), you commit one weld per Enter, and a session tape gives you undo (retracting un-synced welds or routing synced ones to the audited void).
  • A new notification bell in the top bar shows the alerts that matter — the events your tenant marks as sticky, plus your own saved-view alerts (“Notify me” on any saved view). Mark them read or dismiss them per person, and see a restrained “Running now” line for active imports/reports. Manage which event types reach you (bell and/or email) under My settings → Notifications. Saved-view alerts can also email a chosen set of teammates, delivered through MaxTrax’s audited email channel.
  • A new Reports screen: search a catalog of every available report, set criteria in a drawer (with saved criteria you can reuse from — and share with — the weld grid’s saved views), run a report and watch it render live in Activity (with a warning before downloading a truncated result), and set up scheduled email delivery on a plain-language cadence. Rollup reports (Executive Summary, Failure Analysis, Welder Continuity, Welder Rejection) can span multiple projects you’re authorized for.
  • New Edit in Excel page — export your whole project to a spreadsheet, edit it in Excel, and return it; MaxTrax works out exactly what changed and applies it after you confirm a preview. A row you delete from the sheet is never treated as a deletion (archive a weld with the explicit Archive column), and if a weld changed on the server while you were editing you choose per row whether to keep your value or the server’s.
  • Weld matrix toolbar gains an inline (?) help toggle beside the lens filters; the weld drawer’s Repair/Void confirm step now states the consequence in plain language and its success toasts explain why, not just what.
