Welder
Welders don’t sign in to MaxTrax themselves — a welder is tracked as a record, and their work is entered and reviewed by whoever runs that side of the job (a foreman, data coordinator, or admin). This section is for welders who want to understand how their work shows up, and for whoever looks it up on their behalf. A self-service welder view is a possible future addition, not something available today; this section grows if and when that ships.
Three things are tracked: which welds a welder is linked to, set when a weld is completed; the
welder’s qualifications (PQR / WPS) — which procedures and processes they’re qualified to
work, tracked by your admin; and each weld’s status — Pending, Accepted, Rejected,
Repair, or Voided. A weld also carries its number, type, size, and schedule, though not all of
these show up in the Welds list yet.
